THE FRAMES
FRAME YOUR ARTWORK IN STYLE
Our frames are designed to beautifully showcase the historic maps. Each print is surrounded by an elegant off-white matt board and mounted in a Victorian Ash frame, creating a classic look that complements any decor.
To protect your artwork, we use high-quality clear glass or acrylic Perspex facing. Please note that the quoted size(s) refer to the print size and not the frame itself. Our frames feature a 55-60mm matt board and a 20mm wide x 40mm high Vic Ash traditional box gallery-style frame.
All our framed historical maps and poster prints are supplied ready to hang, so you can enjoy your artwork right away. We create your order on-demand and to your specifications, and we will ship your finished artwork in approximately 10-12 days from the order date.
THE TIMBER
For a timeless and sophisticated look, our frames are made from the finest quality Vic Ash / Tasmanian Oak hardwood timber. This light-coloured timber features tones ranging from neutrals to subtle pink tones, making it the perfect complement to a wide variety of interior decors.
We only use the highest appearance grade timber for our frames, which are finished with a natural clear coat. To achieve the perfect soft satin sheen, the timber is then hand-finished with a special blend of hard-drying beeswax and carnauba wax, and carefully hand-applied and buffed for a flawless finish.

THE PAPER
We only use the finest quality paper for our prints. Our paper of choice is a 100% Cotton fourdrinier-made rag paper with a weight of 310 gsm, which provides a light natural textured finish that enhances the overall beauty of your artwork.
To ensure your prints are of the highest quality and longevity, we use museum-grade archival pigment inks. You can trust that your artwork will look stunning for years to come.
Our prints are produced on standard size papers, with a white border included in the finished paper art size. The sizes we offer are the final trimmed size, which includes a minimum 10mm border.
